Open Heart

A custom piece created to embody the intensity of love. A love too powerful to be contained, unfolding and overflowing in expression. This design features over 16 hours of garment construction, along with an additional 40 hours of hand-beaded embroidery. Hundreds of crystal and seed beads in monochromatic red flow across a black silk base, creating the illusion of a heart pouring its essence outward. The heart is rendered translucent with delicate Chantilly lace. The lace extends into the side front and side back panels to emphasise vulnerability, openness, and emotional depth. A study in devotion. A story told through craftsmanship.
