Sun-kissed Clouds

Sun kissed clouds is a blend of Kente and mikado fabric placed in a scalloped shape to present the illusion of a cloudscape kissed by the sun. This look is paired with silk chiffon draped around the arms of the model to highlight the floating beauty of cloud formations. This look features, 59 hours of garment construction, complete 360 hand beaded embroidery and was hand painted by the Creative director to symbolise God as the greatest artist, who created nature and paints it to His will. Each irregular stroke, suggests the theme of perfection in imperfection. This look also has cuts in the bodice to display the irregularity of cloud formations. Despite this irregularity, clouds are still able to display beautiful, intentional images.
