The Sands of the Savannah

The final piece of this collection, which coincidentally happens to be the first design of the collection. This piece features 68 hours of garment construction and hand-beaded embroidery. The look features a layered corset top paired with high leg shorts made out of monochromatic brown fugu cloth. The look is completed with a 5 tier crinoline structure created from scratch overlayed with brown silk. Traditionally crinoline is used underneath garments. however, for this look, the crinoline was exposed and had uncovered gaps to display how God took his time to create complex ecological structures in the Ghanaian savannah and in other regions of the world that just displays His awesome power. Sands of the Savannah is a play on beauty and architecture, just to shed light on just how great God is. We only hope to achieve even a fraction of a fragment of His creative capabilities.
