Within the Canyon

A garment made entirely from Silk Rotana, imported from France. The sheen and shimmer of this piece, along with the extended draping, are intended to conceptualise the interior of a canyon, where sand and earth fuse to form breathtaking landscapes that cannot be replicated. With a total of 33 hours of garment construction and hand embroidery, this look is intended to display the power of God. All land and seas came into being on the third day of creation, yet they display immense detail and precision. We took almost two full days to create this piece, yet the Lord formed land, seas, and vegetation in a single day (Genesis 1:9-13, NIV). The hanging beads and clustered embroidery on the cups and hems display the ever-moving patterns of sand and earth within a canyon, all created in a single day, revealing the marvel of our wonderful Father.
